Defiance 2050 is a re-imagined version of the original Defiance game, Trion Worlds' collaborative effort with the TV show of the same name, tailored specifically for an improved free-to-play experience. It's set several years after the original game, and will be playable on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
As in the original game, Defiance 2050 is an open-world, cooperative shooter where players take on the role of Ark Hunters, journeying across a post-apocalyptic landscape in search of massive battles and epic adventure. Defiance 2050 is being remastered for a new generation of hardware, as well as being designed from the ground up as a free-to-play game with brand new systems and gameplay mechanics.
As a highly skilled Ark Hunter, players will journey far and wide to salvage valuable alien minerals and technologies that have been dispersed amongst the Earth via the destruction of the Votan planetary arks. Within events known as “arkfalls,” pieces of these valuable assets fall from the sky, leaving all of the Ark Hunters to compete for their claim to the bounty.
Ark Hunters can travel as a lone loves, taking on the world individually with their adept set of survival skills, or they can also contract through Von Bach Industries, which provides them with the greatest technologies of the new world. With a carefully placed nanotechnology known as EGO, Ark Hunters are fused with special abilities that give them a supreme advantage over average humans and Votan alike.

if you talking about new rework system? gameplay? update graphics? That was a joke for me.
It makes me wonder why Trion bothered they just made a stripped down version of the origional game. Took all the fun good stuff out and replaced it with poorly thought out crap.
I have played origional defiance for years and have had some good fun and have 6000 ego tunes on both of the pc servers untill over a month ago when the servers went to pot and became un playable and still to this day have not been fixed ( personally think it was a ploy on Trions part to try and force people onto 2050 so the can shut old defiance down)
I have played this garbage untill i got to lvl 50 (max lvl with over 2.5k power rating) then realised it was just no fun. Horible lag spikes insanely hard mobs that just soak up clips of ammo so few people playing you cant get a team of 4 that you are required to do some missions.. All the bugs that never got fixed in the old game were copied over to this game and will still never get fixed. The cheats that some people use in the old game work perfectly in this game (rapid fire aim bot running faster than any car you can drive) These have been reported.
Its a shame as its a great concept for a game but the devs do not listen to feedback and when you report things they remain unfixed. Its a NO from me Trion
