Zynga Will Bring Mobile F2P Shooter Star Wars: Hunters To PC Via Steam In January
Yes, it'll included cross play and cross progression.
Star Wars: Hunters, the F2P arena-shooter from NaturalMotion and Zynga, is making the move to PC. Having originally released back in June of this year on mobile devices and the Nintendo Switch, the game will make the leap to PC via Steam through a series of playtests culminating with an early access launch on January 28th.
Well, maybe the 27th...I'm not quite sure because the post the official site currently says the 28th for Steam Early Access, but the image on the site says the 27th. Pick a date, I guess. Let's go with "the week of January 26th" just to be safe.
You can currently sign up for Steam tests with the first taking place on December 13th, and the second kicking off on January 10th. The post and image align on those, at least.
Come early access time, the 4v4 team-shooter obviously encourages Star Wars fans to check out the myriad of maps and characters from the franchise. Matches are cross play and yes, you'll have cross progression available if you've already been playing the game on another platform.
The Steam version's launch will also see updated graphics, a new Coruscant Underground battlefield, Glikken (a new damage hunter), and the continuation of the title's seasonal-based updates.
You can play the game right now on your phone or on your Nintendo Switch if you want to get a jump on progress prior to the Steam release.

This isn't surprising and I am reasonably sure Ubisoft isn't the only company that wants this data hidden.
