Zynga’s First Console Title, Star Wars: Hunters, Is Delayed Until 2023
No surprises here.
Announced on the game’s Twitter, the PvP shooter Star Wars: Hunters console release date has been pushed back until 2023. No specific reason was given behind the delay, but Zynga assured that they “will continue to roll out new content updates regularly in soft launch territories until worldwide launch,” so at least there will still be updates and info to come in the future.
The news shouldn't come as a surprise as for while the game was “scheduled” for this year, but not much information or content has dropped despite the soft launch in select countries. In fact, in the beginning, the most news was presented by fan accounts rather than the game's personal Twitter.
Well, 2023 isn't that far off, but as no month is set, the game might come as late as Q3, or who knows, maybe even have another delay.
