Konami’s popular online card game Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel has incorporated a new game mode that will have teams working together in either 3v3 or 5v5 team matches. Multiplayer duels have also been a popular part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, as even the anime has featured many different dueling styles and formats with more than just 1v1 battles. Now, Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel players can enjoy the same action as they can team up with their friends and embark on new challenges together.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel revealed the newest type of Duel Battles alongside “Team Battles.” These Team Battles will allow players to team up in groups of 3 or 5 to compete with other teams in a series of Duels. The winning team will be determined based on each team's total wins. Players can also set different rules and deck-building restrictions for their Duel, that way they can be matched with people with the same restriction requirement.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel will also be introducing a new Selection Pack to the game that contains many new powerful cards for Pendulum decks as well as new archetypes.
