You've Seen The Light, Now Get A Peek At The Dark Of Black Desert Online’s Upcoming Morning Light Expansion

Last week, Pearl Abyss dropped a trailer for Black Desert Online’s upcoming Morning Light expansion, highlighting the “light” side of what players will be experiencing in June. Today, the developer dropped another trailer, this time focusing on the “dark” side of things coming to the MMORPG. As with the previous trailer, this one offers a brief glimpse of the world – just the less cheery side.

This new expansion introduces a continent inspired by Korea, its history, and its culture. Players will see some of that in this trailer, but as it is the dark side trailer they’ll also get a peek at some of the expansion’s bosses.

To celebrate the upcoming expansion, Pearl Abyss is providing players with limited-time items like game buffs. They’ll also receive a new pet.

As mentioned above, the Morning Light expansion is very inspired by Korea. In fact, some of the landscape found in the new region being introduced is pulled from real-world locations – which players can see in a special music video made in collaboration with Korean singer So-hee Song and the Korean Tourism Organization. The video is part of a campaign to encourage tourism.
