Yet Another Complaint Filed Against Activision Blizzard Regarding Treatment Of Employees
The complaint claims Blizzard told employees they were not allowed to talk about issues related to the lawsuit filed against the company.
Once again, a complaint has been filed against Activision Blizzard, this time pertaining to the company trying to prevent employees from discussing their work conditions – in particular, the "issues related to the sexual harassment and discrimination lawsuit filed by the state of California". The complaint was brought to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) by the Communications Workers of America (CWA) and claims that a manager threatened one of the employees when they posted an article about the lawsuit on the company’s Slack.
Forner Blizzard senior test analyst Jessica Gonzalez was cited in a press release from the CWA, announcing the latest complaint being filed, stating that the company has a "pattern" of making moves against employees for speaking out. She also claims it has become more prevalent as claims against the company continue to grow.
This is the second time the CWA has brought complaints to the NLRB. The previous time the organization claimed Activision Blizzard was intimidating its workers. It also claimed they were engaged in union-busting and told employees even then that they were not allowed to discuss their work conditions – going so far as to surveil and interrogate them.
Note: Activision Blizzard is still under investigation by the state of California for serious harassment charges. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about such actions within his company – and performed some himself – and shielded the perpetrators from consequences.

It remains to be seen how this will impact the game, but seems likely it won't be anything too drastic.
