Yager Shares A Goodbye Video For The Cycle: Frontier
The devs would like to thank you.
This isn’t the kind of goodbye post you see every day. In fact, if the title wasn’t “Goodbye From The Cycle: Frontier" and it didn’t feature staff saying “thank you”, parts of it would almost look like a trailer for the game. That may actually make it a bit more sad than the usual blog post.
That said, today was the game’s last day. The download has been pulled from the game’s Steam page. This isn’t a surprise, of course. Yager announced the closure back in June due to it not making enough money, so players had a good amount of time to prepare. It’s always sad to see a game go. Hopefully whatever the developers work on next will fare better.
