XLGames Announces Closure Of Moonlight Sculptor
After two years in action, it’s time to say goodbye.
Moonlight Sculptor, an adorable multi-platform MMO game from Kakao Games, is shuttering after a two-year run. The developer announced the closure this morning – simply stating that “it has become necessary to make the difficult decision to terminate the live service” – listing servers in Europe, North America, and Asia.
Of course, the game isn’t closing its doors today. Players have until May 4 to enjoy the game. Until then, the devs will be hosting different community events. In preparation for the closure, the game’s in-app purchases have been removed. If players made purchases within the last week, they’re eligible for a refund. If players still have Gold and Butterflies, they can continue to use them until the servers close.
