XDefiant Won't Be Available On PS4 And Xbox One, Says Ubisoft (At Least Not Right Away)
The upcoming free-to-play FPS will launch first on current-generation platforms.
Pour one out for all those last-generation console players out there.
Ubisoft has announced that XDefiant will launch first on current-generation platforms, meaning PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. That means those on PS4 and Xbox One will have to wait, or might not even get a chance at all. The release of the upcoming free-to-play FPS on both consoles is still being considered, and no specific timeframe has been provided.

Also, there is no concrete date for XDefiant’s launch yet, though the team said the game is still on track to drop this summer.
