XBox Players to Receive Neverwinter's Elemental Evil in September
If you've jumped into Neverwinter on the XBox One and are familiar with the PC version of the game, you've likely wondered when the console version of the free to play MMORPG was going to receive the expansion modules that are already available on PC. Well wonder no more as Cryptic Studios has announced that in September, Elemental Evil will come to the XBOX One version of the game.
It'll also be bringing its friends Fury of the Feywild, Shadowmantle and Curse of Icewind Dale with it.
Once this update launches, the Xbox One and PC versions of the game will only be separated by the Strongholds module which is slated for PC release on August 11th with no known date for XBox release yet.
Adding this much content means players will gain access to a higher level cap, the Oathbound Paladin class, 8 adventure zones, 4 end game campaigns, Minsc and Boo, and a slew of other content all at once. It's like an MMORPG deluge of content.
“Neverwinter: Elemental Evil brings massive changes to our Xbox One version since its launch in late March,” said Rob Overmeyer, executive producer. “As our community continues to grow on consoles, we have continued our support with content including six expansions worth of dungeons and heroic encounters with dragons within six months. Our team is ecstatic with the continued support and can’t wait to give our Xbox One players control of their own strongholds with our next content update coming later this year.”
