World of Warships Adds New Co-op "Scenario" Game Mode
Update 0.6.6 for World of Warships is now live, and it's a biggie -- literally. Weighing in at a hefty 3.8 GB, the largest ever for the game, 0.6.6 adds a new co-op game mode, Scenario, and will compensate players for the long download time by offering a free day of premium account time.
Scenario mode tasks a team of seven players with four different operations, each with different goals, AI enemies, and random events. You'll earn stars for completing various optional objectives, with more stars leading to more rewards at the end of the battle, if you successfully complete the main objective. You'll need at least service level 8 and a Tier V-VI ship to participate in Scenarios.
In addition, today's update rebalances some German cruisers, Japanese destroyers, and American battleships, and gives players the option for "Ultra-High"-quality audio, which Dasha tells us will "help immerse you in the atmosphere of naval battles." Better that than being immersed in the ocean after my ship is blown up.
