World Of Tanks: Mercenaries Implements RTS-Style Battles With Nine Tanks Per Side
Commanding one tank not enough for you? How about taking nine of them for a spin on the battlefield? That's the way of things in the new Commander Mode for World of Tanks: Mercenaries, which will bring RTS-style gameplay to Wargaming's classic title on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
In Commander Mode, you'll be able to direct a platoon of nine armored vehicles against another player using simplified controls that challenge you to think more about your overall strategy, rather than just being one member of a team, as in a typical WoT battle. If you still want to team up with other players, you and four others can challenge a boss called the "Tanker" in PvE action.
Commander Mode is only active for a limited time: Nov. 30 to Dec. 9.
