World Of Tanks Consoles Calls On Rambo And His '80s Action-Movie Pals
If the arrival of Chuck Norris in World of Tanks wasn't enough to get you your '80s action-hero fix, then Wargaming has even more extra-violent options for you. World of Tanks Console players can now get three new commanders -- Snake Plisskin, played by Kurt Russell in Escape From New York and Escape From L.A.; John Rambo, played by Sylvester Stallone in the Rambo movies; and Colonel James Braddock, played by Chuck Norris (again) in the Missing In Action series. Hey, at least these commanders make a little more sense than Hot Wheels.
The three macho men can be earned by progressing along the reward track for the game. There are Premium and Hero skins available for each, and you can also get a "bespoke Garage and some thematic crew chests," as if Stallone doesn't have enough "chest" for everyone. Get more info on the "Action Heroes" promotion on the World of Tanks Console site.
Also live today is the 6.0 update for the game, which provides a new launcher and UI improvements to help you sort through all of your inventory and menus. Once in battle, you can take advantage of the improved maps, new HUD elements, and larger communication radial to win battles and brag about your performance on the new post-battle MVP screen.
