World Of Tanks' August Update Includes Czech Tanks, Japanese Map, And More Modifications
The August update for World of Tanks has added some heavy firepower to the game, in the form of four high-end Czechoslovakian heavy tanks, as well as a new map, new customization options, and a birthday celebration. The new Czech tanks range from Tiers VII to X, with the Tier VIII and up ones offering a choice of two guns: a classic cyclical one or two-shell autoloader.
That's not the only choice tankers will have when heading into battle. Field Modification allows you to set parameters to change your elite-status Tier VI-X tank's role before heading into battle, such as Assault Heavy Tank, Versatile Medium Tank, and so on.
The new map is called Safe Haven, and it's the based on the Chūgoku region in southwestern part of Japan's island of Honshu. The coastal area's defining feature is its seaport, and its huge (1,000m square) landscape is suitable for Standard Battles in Tier IV to X vehicles.
Finally, to celebrate the game's 11th birthday later this month players will receive various bonuses and gifts, which the team will reveal in detail at a later time. For now, you can learn about everything in the current update on the World of Tanks site.
