PlayStation 4 armored vehicle combat fans; do we have good news for you. Wargaming.net, the developer of the popular free-to-play tank combat game World of Tanks, announced a three day open beta for the PlayStation 4 version of the game today. The open beta will take place December 4th - 6th and will coincide with the PlayStation experience taking place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA.
In addition to testing the game, all beta participants will be given two exclusive tanks: the T1E6-PS with elite camouflage and the M22 Locust-PS with a PlayStation-themed color scheme.
For those of you attending the PlayStation Experience, Wargaming has something special planned. PSE attendees will be able to play World of Tanks on the PS4 at Wargaming's booth (#1200) and have chances to win prizes. There will also be special stage presentations from the developers and lots of swag and bonus codes.
Oh... And a party! On December 4th, between 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM, Wargaming will be having a party at Jillian's. The first 150 guests to arrive and show their valid PlayStation Experience badge will get to join.
