My.com has released the latest in their line of Dream Drive trailers for their upcoming, free-to-play racer, World of Speed. This time we get to see two iconic muscle cars duke it out through the streets of San Francisco and part of the California highway.

The Ford Mustang GT and the Chevrolet Camaro SS are among the most visually recognizable cars of all time and watching them race around (and nearly collide) actually was pretty thrilling. As always, these trailers continue to get better and better looking as the World of Speed team continues to add polish to the title.

Will the game draw a huge following though? With features like Drift and Drag modes not being included until sometime after launch and other popular modes not slated for addition at all, I will be curious to see how much of the racing player base checks out World of Speed.

Are you a racing game fan? If so, let me know your thoughts below!

You can sign up for the World of Speed beta on their web site.

Looks like a downgraded and utterly shitty version of The Crew that is coming out on xboxone and ps4 and PC on dec 2

I read the title as Need for Speed: World. That game was a bastardized abomination and should be nuked from orbit. Why would they want to pick a name so dangerously close to that?

Slightly Mad made the only good NFS games in recent memory. There's no doubt that they can make a racing good game, but it all depends on how greedy and irresponsible my.com is.

I'm just hoping the customization in this game is off the charts. Car games that give little customization are no fun at all. I don't want a suped up lambo or gatti ready for my disposal in a day or two. I want to work my way up from a"okayish" stock honda and build a really fast car later in the game. I hope this game delivers, if not, its just another boring car game you get tired in a couple days.

i've been waiting for this game for some time now but, i think it's just going to end up just like need for speed world pay to win and not live up to the hype i really do hope it doesn't go the nfsw route.
