Wargaming, the developer of World of Warships, has announced a partnership with ocean conservation charity FORCE BLUE for World Ocean Month. As part of the strategy game's collaboration, themed in-game content featuring Popeye the Sailor Man will be released, with profits supporting FORCE BLUE. The developer plans on donating $50,000 USD to the organization, and 10% of the net revenue from the sale of Popeye items.
As part of the collaboration, a Popeye Charity Bundle will be available, which includes unique commanders, flags, and a camouflage for the USS Colorado. Additionally, World of Warships will feature a special "Save the Ocean" chain of missions throughout June, along with a World Ocean Day Twitch livestream event. The game itself recently launched a content update introducing European destroyers, Pan-American cruisers, and the Convoy battle mode.
