World Of Warcraft's The War Within Early Access Is Underway, What Are Your Early Impressions?
Lots to do, and we're just getting started.
If you bought the Epic Edition of World of Warcraft's The War Within expansion, then last night you were able to get into the MMORPG's new content as part of the bundle's early access. While the initial launch had a few issues (and there's a few quests still giving people problems), things went relatively smoothly.
The official launch of The War Within happens next week on the 26th, but there's quite a bit available already. You can play almost all of the campaign, 8 new normal mode dungeons, the new "Delves" feature, world quests, and you can almost unlock the new Earthen Allied Race. Additional content and difficulty tiers for dungeons won't come until full launch.
Also live in early access is the "Skyriding" feature. This isn't new, but you probably know it as "dynamic riding", it's just a name change for keeping the Dragonriding feature added in the last expansion. PvP players get the new Deephaul Ravine map and Warbands (and new UI changes) are all live right now, too.
What are your early impressions of the new expansion? Will The War Within bring back the masses? Let us know your thoughts on the new content.
In addition to a new video (with a TON of fan nods in it), I've included the "Story So Far" trailer to catch you up if you're coming back after a long break.
