World Of Warcraft Starts A Free "Welcome Back" Event Today If You're Keen To Do The War Within Pre-Expansion Content
Or you can simply go say hello to all those characters you've left sitting there while you weren't subscribed.
Curious about what World of Warcraft has up their sleeves for the upcoming The War Within expansion? If you're a current subscriber, you've likely already been checking out the Radiant Echoes pre-expansion patch content and getting ready for launch on August 26th.
If you, like me, haven't been subscribed to Warcraft for a while and are somewhat curious, the Activision Blizzard team launch a free "Welcome Back" event and you have until August 4th to scope out the lay of the land.
"Welcome Back" unlocks all content through the Dragonflight expansion and all of your characters, so you don't have to worry about any hidden limitations. You're free to jump right into the pre-expansion content or you can just say hello to some of your favorite toons from the past. Should you feel spry enough to roll a new character, you'll be able to decide the leveling path you want to embark upon. Chromie allows you to play your expansion story of choice once you hit level 10. Alternate classes like Death Knights and Demon Hunters will have a slightly different starting option before they can jump to their desired expansion.
This event doesn't expand anything for trial accounts though, you have to have subbed up at some point to be eligible. Also, no, you can't use the MMORPG's event to hop into WoW Classic.
