World Of Warcraft's Next Update Will Include New Public Events & A New Heroic Dungeon
New content is in development over at Blizzard.
The next content update for World of Warcraft will be titled "Fury Incarnate", and players have plenty of new content to look forward to in the MMORPG. Slated for release in the Fall of this year, Fury Incarnate will bring new public events, and a mega-dungeon split into two Heroic encounters.
The new public event being worked on is called Dreamsurges. One of the four original zones in the Dragon Isles will be selected each week, and they will be affected by Waking Dream portals. Encounters with rare creatures and event bosses mean a chance at upgraded gear drops.
The Forsaken Night Elf heritage armor quest line will be implemented, giving players a chance to earn new heritage armor for the race.
The Dawn of the Infinite dungeon will be a mega-dungeon split into two Heroic difficulty dungeons. Travel across the timeways to stop the Infinite Dragonflight from succeeding. Sustain Azeroth's timeline and correct the flaws the Infinite Dragonflight have created.
Note: Activision Blizzard has been sued by California’s Civil Rights Department, alleging violations of California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act and Equal Pay Act. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about the alleged violations within his company. These allegations have all been denied by Activision Blizzard and the company points to additional diversity and inclusion training as past examples of taking the accusations seriously at the time they were made.
