World Of Warcraft’s 9.1.5 Update Launches November 2
And it’s bringing the Mage Tower back with it.
Note: Activision Blizzard is still under investigation by the state of California for serious harassment charges.
Alright-y World of Warcraft players (Regular. Not Classic.), get ready for some content. Blizzard is dropping the game’s 9.1.5 content update in about a week and a half, on November 2. Upon launch, the update will allow players to easily switch Covenants without cooldowns or restrictions. It will also offer new customization options. There are shiny new pictures of these options available on the 9.1.5 update site.
Good news for all of you who have been asking for it, the Mage Tower returns, thanks to a little Timewalking. The tower makes an appearance in the Legion Timewalking event, scheduled to take place in early December. While the event is active, players can travel to the Broken Isles and make their way to Deliverance Point where they can enter the tower and take on the challenge. This is a class-specific solo challenge, so do come prepared.
The update also introduces several quality of life changes. These include the ability to queue for island expeditions with a party or alone, because sometimes you’re just feeling antisocial. Allied races that were locked behind dungeons have been freed, meaning players will be able to access them without struggling. Players can now link their Dressing Room to share their transmogs with their friends, and PvP Gear Power has been adjusted, with lower item-level gear scaling higher than before.
On another note, those of you waiting for the Sylvanas novel are going to have to wait a while longer, as it's been delayed to March 29. This news comes via WoWhead who discovered it via Reddit. At this point, the reason for the delay hasn't been specified and speculation seems to be that Blizzard is trying to avoid spoilers for the 9.2 update.
