The 2024 Dragonflight Season 3 Arena World Championship (AWC) kicks off today.
This World of Warcraft tournament promises intense battles and high-stakes competition, with only two opportunities for top gladiators to secure a spot in the MMORPG's cross-region Mid-Season Clash. Viewers can catch the action on Twitch and YouTube during the first two Cups.
The online tournament will feature a double-elimination format with Best-of-5 matches leading up to the Grand Finals, which will be a Best-of-7 showdown. Co-streaming is making a return this year too, and fans can register for AWC Watch Parties. The broadcast will begin at 10 AM (PT).
Registration for AWC Cup 2 is still open as well, as teams compete to earn the Dreaming Banner of the Aspects in-game toy. Sign up on Raider.IO.
Note: Activision Blizzard has been sued by California’s Civil Rights Department, alleging violations of California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act and Equal Pay Act. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about the alleged violations within his company. These allegations have all been denied by Activision Blizzard and the company points to additional diversity and inclusion training as past examples of taking the accusations seriously at the time they were made. This case has been settled for $54 million.
