World Of Tanks Takes Players Back To Mirny For Halloween While WoT Blitz Introduces New Polish Tanks
Uncover what really happened in Mirny.
Even war games filled with big metal machines aren’t immune to the call of spooky season, and so it is with World of Tanks. Once again, players are called to return to the eerily desolate town of Mirny, struck by a questionable (possibly supernatural) incident. Since previous scouts hadn’t successfully returned with any answers, or returned at all for that matter, it is now up to players in squads of up to five tankers to go in and find out.
To achieve their goal, players will be taking on AI-controlled vehicles not seen outside of Mirny. They will fight their way through three or four phases, depending on difficulty setting, before confronting the Immortal. This beast is tied to what happened in Mirny and players will need to find eight Reels containing important information in order to figure out what that is. Oh yes, and the reels will need to be decrypted using special keys earned during the event. The event lasts until November 10.
On the World of Tanks Blitz side of things, we have new Polish tanks. These tanks were introduced as part of the game’s 8.4 update on October 20 and range from tiers VI to X. There are five new tanks in all and you can find out more about them in the 8.4 update review video or you can watch MMA fighter and World’s Strongest Man winner Mariusz Pudzianowski introduce them if that’s more your thing.
