With The Cycle Moving To Closed Beta On The Revamp, Current Servers Will Close Soon
Most cosmetics will transfer to the revamped version, though!
We've previously told you about The Cycle's upcoming revamp and closed beta details for October, but today we've found out that these plans will intersect now with the live version of the game, leading to a shutdown of the current servers on October 13th. The cash shop for the live version will shut down on October 6th and the team will be exploring refunds for some recent purchases, but details on that are forthcoming.
This marks, basically, the end of The Cycle Jason and I came to know and love and paves the way for the revamped more "hardcore" version of the title as no version of the game will be open to the public again until the revamp is ready to launch, this time on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.
If you've farmed up or purchased cosmetics in The Cycle, fret not. Almost all of these will transfer to the new version with the exception of foam poses and bikes as they "aren't part of the direction for the new game" according to the announcement.
If you've played for a while, the previously teased Veteran Rewards have now been revealed along with explanations of how you can qualify for them.
Get some time in now as it may be a while before the game is open to the general public again!
