Win An Original Series Phaser Universal Remote From Star Trek: Alien Domain
Things are apparently getting a little silly -- and a lot festive -- around the Star Trek: Alien Domain offices, just in time for Christmas. To celebrate the season, the ST:AD team is holding a holiday themed giveaway in which one lucky person could win an officially licensed (from CBS) Star Trek The Original Series Phaser Universal Remote Control.
As you've likely already guessed, the control is indeed shaped like an old school Star Trek Phaser. It's a screen-accurate prop replica designed by The Wand Company and would normally run you about $150. It boasts a variety of functions and even comes with its own specially designed case, a USB charging cable, screw driver, and more. Full specs on the remote can be found on the Star Trek site.
So how do you win this wonderful toy? Well, you have to be a tad creative -- and maybe like to sing Christmas carols a bit. To enter to win, you'll need to film yourself singing along with a Star Trek themed 12 Days of Christmas karaoke video (seen below) and upload it to YouTube or Facebook with a #StarTrekAD tag. The Alien Domain team will pick the best video and the winner will receive the remote.
Of course, the remote isn't the only prize that will be awarded during this giveaway. Ten winners will receive $100 in in-game items and 25 will be given $50 worth of in-game items. For more details on the giveaway -- plus the fine print -- check out the giveaway post here.
