WildStar Holding Double XP Event
This weekend, WildStar is hosting a double XP event. The event starts April 14 at 2 a.m. Pacific and will end on the 17th at 11:49 p.m. During this time, players will earn twice the normal XP for anything they do in game. The devs suggest concentrating on adventures, expeditions, and dungeons in order to get the most out of it.
For players who have already hit max level, the event will allow them to earn Elder Gems at twice the normal pace. If a player hits the weekly cap during this time, the rest of their XP will be converted to gold.
In other WildStar news, the dev team has begun banning players who take advantage of an exploit that allows them to duplicate omnibits. A forum thread discussing the banning refers to it as being "massive". As with most large group bans, it appears that some players may have been caught up in them unintentionally. As noted in the forum thread, if someone feels they have been banned unfairly, the best course of action is to take it up with the developer directly. All other methods will take longer, if nothing else.
