Multiplayer and survival? Name a better duo.
Wildmender is a newly announced, upcoming, multiplayer, desert gardening survival game developed by Muse Games. The game is set to be released on September 28, and will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Players will embark on a desert adventure to uncover the secrets of the life-draining wraiths that have corrupted the land, starting from a small desert spring.
The gameplay revolves around exploring the expansive desert landscape, collecting various plant species, and nurturing them to grow. As players delve deeper into the world, they will also have the opportunity to craft structures and tools, harness magical essence, and manage essential resources like food and water. There’s dunes, drained seas, poisoned canyons, and cold mountains.
Wildmender offers both a solo mode and an online co-op multiplayer mode, accommodating up to 4 players. In addition to crafting elements, there’s over 75 unlockable perks and ability upgrades. The game also emphasizes replayability with its procedurally generated world and has difficulty sliders for extra challenge (or if you need to make things a bit easier!).
