Whitestrake’s Mayhem PvP Event Returns To The Elder Scrolls Online With New Ayleid Lich Outfit Style Armor
Hit up Cyrodiil, the Imperial City, and Battlegrounds to earn new rewards (and some past ones).
The time has come once again to slap around your fellow players in The Elder Scrolls Online and earn prizes. It's pretty basic and is a recurring event in the MMORPG, but hey, giving your fellow players the beat down in PvP is always a good time, right? Unless you're me, of course. I'm just there to feed your stats.
Luckily, the Whitestrake's Mayhem event comes with a 100% bonus buff to Alliance Points, XP, and Tel Var Stone gains, so at least you're getting something, even if you're a PvP baddie like me. If you've never participated in the event, head to the Crown Store in the MMO and grab the free quest "Details on the Whitestrake’s Mayhem" and complete it to get started. If you've done the event in previous years you can skip this step and just go swing away in PvP.
Different from last year, you will no longer have to use the Scroll of Pelinal’s Ferocity to get the buff I mentioned above. If you have the scroll in your inventory still, it doesn't do a damn thing anymore as the buff is just active in PvP.
There's a multitude of rewards you can snag this time around and, of course, you can also earn Event Tickets to spend at the Impresario, just remember you can only carry 12 at a time, so spend them as you get them. Hit up my link above for the full rewards list, but the new "sexy" on the line is the Ayleid Lich Outfit Style Armor shown above. These style pages come from Pelinal’s Boon Boxes you'll get as rewards from PvP missions and daily quests and they have a small chance to drop the style pages.
If you need a guide to the action, the community has you covered.
As a bit of an aside, The Elder Scrolls Online team has put together a cool video and photo gallery recapping the recent ESO Tavern Community Event. Someday I'm going to one of these!
