When Marvel Rivals Drops Their Holiday Event Tomorrow, You Can Pick Up Jeff the Land Shark's Cuddly Fuzzlefin Costume For Free
There's an extra freebie for you too as the hero-shooter surpasses the 20 million player mark.
Let's hit up the quick "we're doing well" post from the team over at Marvel Rivals. While it's been no surprise that the hero-shooter has been doing REALLY well, I mean it hit hundreds of thousands of players in just hours, the number are getting really, really big.
Over on X, NetEase announced that over 20 million players have given the game a go. To celebrate, you can log in between December 20th and January 10th to claim a free spray complete with the "20 million" number in it.
Moving on to tomorrow, December 19th, Marvel Rivals will join in on the holiday fun with their "Winter Celebration" event. The key addition here is the launch of the new "Jeff's Winter Splash Festival" mode. Think controlling the oh-so-cute land shark and spraying the map and other players with a particular color a la Splatoon and you get the idea.
If you want to drop some cash, there will be holiday-specific costumes available. Some are shown off in the video below.
However, even if you're not spending cash, there's a fantastic costume you'll be getting for free via Jeff's Greeting Card. Jeff the Land Shark's Cuddly Fuzzlefin Costume is all you really need, right?
The fun and freebies start December 19th at 11 PM EST.
