The upcoming Dead by Daylight chapter, featuring a crossover with Alan Wake, finally drops in the game today. This new chapter will also introduce a modifier called Lights Out, temporarily removing all tools from every survivor.

As a playable character, Alan Wake's perks revolve around the theme of light.
The Champion of Light perk enhances Alan's speed while holding a flashlight, simultaneously impeding the movement of his pursuer when shone in their eyes. Deadline increases the frequency of healing allies or repairing generators, activating only when Alan is injured. Additionally, there's a boon totem named Illumination, which reveals the auras of chests and generators — helping allies locate them.
