What's Next For V Rising Now That 1.0 Is Out And The PS5 Version Released? Stunlock Talks What COULD Be In 1.1
Don't expect the update anytime soon, though. Collecting feedback is time-consuming work.
Over 130,000 vampires have tried to survive the world of Vardoran since V Rising hit full launch and later released on the PlayStation 5. Stunlock Studios is actually pretty happy with everything they've seen since then and has enjoyed celebrating and interacting with players. However, collecting feedback and deciding where to take the survival game in the future is actually a bit more challenging than you may think.
In a new blog post from the team, Stunlock not only looks back at the launch and takes a moment to thank everyone already enjoying the game, but they start to look forward, specifically at "Patch 1.1".
I put that in quotes because the patch isn't really nailed down yet according to the post. You see, the team still has a few decisions to make. Amongst them is... where exactly do we want to take the game?
"We will move forward at a healthy pace, making sure we’re not rushing our ideas, allowing us to do our best as developers. After a brief respite, we will emerge once more with fresh minds, prepared to spread our wings once again and soar into the future that will be V Rising 1.1," the post reads.
Patch 1.1 doesn't have a content list or ideal size even decided on yet, however the team does imagine the patch to be more of a "side vampire" story to the base game. Don't expect any real major overhauls. Given the "in flux" nature of the ideas Stunlock has, we're not likely to see 1.1 very soon, so don't hold your vampire breath quite yet.
