Cross play in Airship Syndicate's Wayfinder has been something players have wanted for a while now. Initially, the team announced that the co-op RPG game would add in the feature on October 21st when the title dropped early access and hit full launch.

However, last night the team decided to just ninja launch cross play as a "preview" to get the feature tested a bit ahead of that launch. As of right now, players on PC and PlayStation 5 can team up to fight back the Gloom using a lobby code system that's also been added.

You may still have the occasional bug in the system, so the team is welcoming your feedback on the official Discord should you run into any issues.

If you're in a public game, open up the "Find Party" menu and view the code in the upper right portion of your screen. Share that code with your friends and they can enter it on their own "Find Party" menu to join you regardless of platform.

The cross play feature will allow Xbox players to tag in when the game comes to that platform (and the Epic Games Store) later this year.
