Watch 24 Guitarists Perform An Insane Cover Of Final Fantasy XIV’s The Final Day
Now we know who’s buying those XIV Stratocasters.
Spend your time in any major Final Fantasy XIV battles, and you’re going to hear some epic tunes while you’re there. This remains true of the final fight to save the world in Endwalker, the Endsinger battle. While players are working to defeat the embodiment of despair, they’re doing it to one of the game’s amazing tunes, a song called The Final Battle.
Of course, with tunes like this, it’s hard to resist doing covers of them. Almost all of these turn out to be pretty epic in their own ways, but today, Husky by the Geek dropped what may be one of the most epic covers ever – based mostly on the fact that he got 24 guitarists (including himself) together to do it. Oh, and did we mention they’re all using those XIV Stratocasters from Fender? Just in case you wanted to know who’s dropping $3.5k on them.
Rather than try to describe the cover to you, we’ll just let you watch it. Those of you who may not play the game but want something to compare it to can find the original song below that. It does contain the fight as well, so here’s your obligatory spoiler warning.
