Warhammer 40K: Darktide Updating Armoury Exchange, Loadouts, Crafting, And More
Fans may finally be getting the changes to Warhammer 40K: Darktide they've been asking for.
Warhammer 40K: Darktide is revamping the way players acquire and customize weapons in the game. Developer FatShark began testing the crafting system back in December but found key problems that caused them to delay the release. Couple that with player feedback since launch, and the developer is changing up how you acquire and customize items in Darktide.
Perhaps the largest source of feedback has called for more player agency in acquiring items, so FatShark is updating the Armoury Exchange so that players can acquire items based on their Mk level as long as the player has reached the minimum level for that Mk.
Alongside this change comes loadouts that players can customize and save, and a change to The Emperor's Gift system in which it will be granted upon every mission completion without a time limit.
You can check out the full deep dive over on the official PlayDarkTide site, and they will be going into further details on these changes and more during their next dev livestream.
