Explore a derelict Mechanicus research station in Secrets of the Machine God.
Today, during the Warhammer Skulls event, Fatshark teased a new update for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. Titled “Secrets of the Machine God”, the free update will launch on June 25, bringing a new mission and new weapons to the co-op shooter.
In the new mission, players will explore a derelict Mechanicus research station in Atelium Foundryplex Omega V. As for the new weapons, players can look forward to picking up the Bolt Pistol, Pickaxes, Shockmauls, and a new double-barrelled Shotgun.
The Darktide team also announced the Hestia’s Decollation Crusade event – in which players destroy the heads of swarms of heretics and earn in-game currency. In addition, The Rogue Trader and Death Korps of Krieg sets are back for the duration of Skulls and players can currently purchase the Tide Collection Bundle featuring Vermintide, Vermintide 2, and Darktide on Steam.
We would embed the teaser trailer for you, but as it has an age gate, you’ll have to go to YouTube to view it.
