Warhammer 40K Darktide's Next Free Update Revealed, Will Include A New Activity And An Ogryn Talent Revamp
The new Mortis Trials activity will get its own limited-time event, too.
The next free update for Warhammer 40K Darktide players is coming on March 25th and the looter-shooter will be the recipient of a new Mortis Trials activity, a limited-time event to encourage you to play Mortis Trials, a full refresh on the end-game Havoc mode, and a talent revamp to the Ogryn. That last one will be the first item to get more details in the coming weeks via blogs from the team at Fatshark.
As I'm sure you'll guess, the new Mortis Trials activity does involve shooting some baddies. However, while you're suffering from visions thanks to the ship's Psyker, you will be able to build new playstyles by selecting between abilities and buffs for the duration of the trial. Clear the trials and you'll learn some secrets behind some characters on the Mourningstar. There will be a limited-time event taking place to push you into the new activity.
Havoc mode, one of the key end-game activities, will be revamped and have 4 new mutators added. We'll have to wait for more than just the teaser released today for more details.
The update will drop on all platforms on March 25th.
