As Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Comes To Xbox, It Will Also Undergo A Class Overhaul
There's talent trees for each class with different paths and nodes, plus new abilities.
Big changes are coming to Darktide.
In an upcoming patch (#13) for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide set to release on October 4, the shooter game will undergo a significant Class Overhaul, revamping the class and feat systems. This includes the introduction of talent trees for each class, with 3 main paths and multiple nodes per path. Players will gain new abilities, enabling them to customize their playstyle and create diverse character builds.
This revamp aims to provide more agency, experimentation, and support for various play styles. The update also comes with multiple skill additions for each class, such as new shield abilities for the Psyker, unique grenade options for the Ogryn, and more. Fatshark, the developer, said that this update had been in development since before Darktide's launch.
Also on that date, Darktide is set to arrive on Xbox Series X|S, offering both Standard and Imperial editions. The game will also be available from day one (well, Xbox release Day One...) on Xbox Game Pass. The upcoming Xbox release will feature Patch #13.
