Wargaming Donates $108,318 To The Victims Of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant Destruction
The money will help buy new gear and equipment for rescue operations.
Following the recent destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant in Ukraine, World of Tanks developer Wargaming announced plans to donate 4 million UAH (or $108,318 USD) via United24. This money is intended to help buy gear and equipment needed to aid in rescue operations in the region. These necessary items include lifeboats and rafts, excavators, bulldozers, firefighting gear, diving suits, and more.
The hope is that the money will assist the volunteers and Ukrainian services that have been working to save people and animals. They also intend for it to help mitigate the issues that follow something like the destruction of a power plant.
