Warframe's Mask Of The Revenant Update Hits Consoles
Console gamers almost always have to wait longer for releases than their PC comrades, thanks to the need for approvals from Sony, Microsoft, or Nintendo. It's been a few weeks since Warframe launched its most recent update on PC, and now gamers on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 can get their hands on Mask of the Revenant and start their journey toward building the game's 36th 'frame.
The Revenant can control enemies with its Enthrall ability, making them attack their allies and producing toxic energy upon death. Its other abilities include Mesmer Skin, which defends the Revenant lets it more easily enthrall minions; Reave, which lets it dash through enemies to steal their shields and health; and Danse Macabre, which ... well, let's go to the press release: "Erupt with a multitude of Eidolon energy beams and sweep a circle of death around Revenant." Yes, please.
As an added bonus, this update includes the mini-games Frame Fighter, Wyrmius, and Happy Zephyr, all of which are available through Cephalon Simaris. The last two, however, are only available "through more secret means," so you'll have to poke around a bit to find them -- hopefully not with your sword.
