Warframe's Latest Dev Stream Offers (Slightly) More Details On The Empyrean Update
Last Friday, Digital Extremes hosted another Dev Stream on Twitch, giving players a chance to ask questions, earn some in-game goodies, and get the lowdown on what's currently in the works for the company's popular sci-fi MMO Warframe. Among the trove of information being rolled out by the stream was new information on Empyrean.
Unfortunately, there's still no release date for Empyrean yet, but the devs did note how the content would be rolled out -- in three phases: Drydock, Take Flight, and Find Answers. They also discussed the Kuva Lich system -- where procedural enemies spawn for players while having a power level relative to that of the Warframe they spawned for. Players who track down the Kuva Lich and kill them will be able to steal their weapons and use them. However, to get the weapons, they'll have to use a new finishing move.
The stream also covered the Vauban rework, offering more information on the Warframe's updated kit, including looks at individual abilities. These can be viewed on the Warframe site as individual videos, or you can watch the full stream on YouTube.
Of course, there was plenty of other information revealed during the stream too, which can be found on the Waframe site.
