Warframe To Show Off Nidus Prime In Full In-Game Walkthrough On Friday
Get your first look at Nidus Prime and take another crack at the Tennocon in-game event this Friday.
This Friday, August 27, Digital Extremes will be hopping on Twitch and YouTube with another Warframe developer stream in which they play to offer a first look at Nidus Prime as well as reveal a ton of things. The stream is scheduled to take place at 2:00 pm Eastern, during which time, they will also rerun the Tennocon 2021 in-game event.
Nidus Prime, first revealed at Tennocon, is an upgraded variant of Nidus, meaning she has increased stats and extra Polarity Slots for customization. This Warframe makes use of fungal growth that ruptures the ground to steal energy from enemies and pull them in. Nidus also uses a parasitic link to deal damage, and even employs maggots in battle. Basically, it all just sounds gross – which may be what you’re going for when trying to kill things.
As mentioned above, the stream will also feature a rerun of the narrative relay event that took place during Tennocon – since it was so popular that a lot of people weren’t able to participate. So, if you were one of those people, this’ll be your chance to experience the event, no matter which platform you’re on. The event will also serve as a stress test.
Speaking of events, the Operation: Plague Star event will be highlighted on this week’s dev stream. Although, it should be familiar to some players anyway.
Aside from that, players can also expect some behind-the-scenes peeks at content currently in development for the upcoming Sentients in the New War update arriving later this year.
