Warframe’s Prime Access System Retired In Favor Of Prime Resurgence Based On Player Feedback
The Prime Vault is being retired in favor of something more frequent.
After a long time in action, Warframe’s Prime Vault is being retired in favor of a new program – Prime Resurgence. First seen last year as a limited-time event, Prime Resurgence is now available as a permanent feature. Built around player feedback, Resurgence is intended to offer streamlined access to the more powerful items and gear in the game.
This means that Prime Warframes, weapons, and gear will be available to players on a more frequent basis, instead of the three-month schedule players are used to today. With the new program, players will have access to two Prime Warframes and their related gear that can be unlocked in-game or instantly using Aya and Regal Aya. The first two Warframe offerings will be Wukong Prime and Equinox Prime.
This new shift also makes obtaining the items in-game easier by reducing the grind. To do this Digital Extremes has removed the randomization and will allow players to purchase Void Relics for Aya earned by completing specific missions rather than random ones. Digital Extremes has provided a video explaining how all of this works. However, it’s age-restricted, so you’ll need to go to YouTube to watch it.
