Warframe Now On The Nintendo Switch, Offers Limited-Time Account Migration
Now you can take your Warframe adventures on the go with you, grinding away for that next upgrade on your way to work or school, or even while lounging on the couch. Digital Extremes' (in cooperation with Panic Button) hit free-to-play game is now on the Nintendo Switch, and you can get free loot just for logging in.
All the content you'll find on PC and console versions of Warframe up to the Mask of the Revenant expansion is available on the Switch, so you'll have to do without some of the most recent content, such as the Fortuna expansion. That will come sometime in 2019, and the plan is eventually for the Switch and other versions of the game to "be in content parity" at that time. Even so, that gives you five years and 23 updates' worth of content on the Switch right now, so it's unlikely you'll be bored.
What else is in the Warframe Switch adaptation? Multiplayer (up to four), motion controls, built-in voice chat, and the ability to migrate your account from PC. That last is only available for a limited time, however, so if you think you'll be more active on the Switch, make the move quickly. Then again, you're a cyberninja -- you do everything quickly.
Sign in from now until Dec. 4 and complete the game's first quest to receive a welcome package consisting of 50,000 Credits, a 3-Day Affinity Booster, a Forma, and an Orokin Catalyst and Orokin Reactor. Learn more about the Switch version of Warframe on the game's website.
