Warframe’s Next Update Allow Players To Experience The New War From The Perspective Of Iconic Enemies
Play as Kahl-175, Veso, and Dax in the latest cinematic quest line.
When the new three-act cinematic expansion, The New War, launches in Warframe on December 15, it will offer players a new perspective on things. During the first act of the questline, players will find themselves taking control of well-known foes, Kahl-175, Veso, and Teshin in order to see the war with the Sentients through their eyes. This also means learning their specific play styles.
As noted, the expansion takes place over three acts, the latter two of which Digital Extremes has elected to keep a secret until launch. What they are willing to tell us is that the story will send players to new places, including open worlds filled with Sentients, in order to find answers about their own identity, the conflict with the Lotus, and the impact the invasion will have on the system. To get things rolling, Digital Extremes did drop a shiny new trailer for the expansion.
Of course, there will be a new Warframe too – a hybrid of Warframe and Sentient named Caliban with the ability to resist damage types while taking hits. This is the 48th Warframe and will be added on all platforms the day the expansion launches.
