Warframe Celebrates 7th Anniversary By Asking Players To Create The Game's Next Warframe
Seven years since its official launch and Warframe is still going strong. Of course, Digital Extremes is ready to celebrate that little milestone with some 7th-anniversary festivities. Among the things the dev team has planned are in-game gifts, special real-world merch, and offering players a chance to help design the game's next Warframe with a community-designed Warframe project.
Players can now submit ideas on the Warframe's theme. The theme needs to be original, and players can submit backstory information and concept art. That said, the devs may alter the background stories and the art likely won't be used in the final design.
If you're interested in submitting a theme, you'll want to check out all the rules on the Warframe forums.
As for the rest of the anniversary event, players will receive all kinds of in-game goodies -- including the Dex Rakasaka Armor set. Of course, they'll need to do a bit of work to get these items, and that includes participating in Alerts.
And, if you're the type to go in for items you can hold in your hand, a few 7th-anniversary items have been added to the Warframe store.
