The Link-Up Continues As Warframe Adds Cross-Platform Clans And Friends
Now it's easy to party up no matter where you play.
Warframe has added the ability to add cross-platform friends and Clan members this week, making it even easier to play with your friends no matter where they play.
As long as you have cross-platform play enabled in the shooter's System Options menu, you'll be able to add friends from any platform. Your friends list will display their user name and whether they are in-game friends, cross-platform friends, or both. You can add cross-platform friends in Warframe by hovering over their user name is squad, by viewing Recent Players in the Communication option of the pause menu, or by typing in their username under the Communication option.
To enable cross-platform Clans, your Clan's founding Warlord must enable it in the Clan Management settings. They are not on by default in Warframe. Players joining from different platforms will have access to the Clan's Dojo, Research progress, and Clan/Alliance chat.
Currently, trading in Warframe is still only with players on your current platform, but the team is still exploring options for cross-platform trading.
