Warface Celebrates Fourth Anniversary With Gifts And Chernobyl Preview
After four years, Warface is still going strong, having added eight million players since My.com's takeover of the game in January. That's 48 million registered players total, at least 30 million of whom probably think, "Yeah, it's a silly name, but I like it anyway."
To reward those dedicated souls, My.com is handing out presents from Oct. 19-22, in the form of four gift cards, one per day, each of which grants a randomized prize, as well as a special anniversary skin every day. You can also earn a golden loot box for accumulating 100 kills each day in any game mode. If all that isn't enough, the game is offering 400% bonuses to everything -- Warface dollars, Crown Points, XP, and VP -- throughout the four-day celebration, and logging in on the 22nd nets you a Mega VIP booster.
And if all that isn't enough, My.com has also revealed a video showcasing the next update for the game, which takes players to Pripyat, "the most famous city of the Chernobyl exclusion zone." You can learn all about Warface's fourth anniversary celebration and the new map on the Warface site.
