Warface Briefs Players On Common Damage-Recording Issues
My.Games feels your frustration when your shots miss in Warface, or when your enemies' shots hit when you were sure they didn't. It's apparently such a big deal that the company has written up a post detailing various situations regarding damage or lack thereof and what's being done about bugs that players often encounter.
Some of the entries on the list sound like a particular Talking Heads song: "You could have found yourself in situations when the enemy killed you although there was no shooting animation" sounds like it should be followed up with "And you may ask yourself, well, how did I get here?" The answer, in that case, was due to a bug that didn't show the animation, though My.Games said that's been fixed.
Many other issues, such as an enemy killing you after going behind a wall or shots not being registered are due to things common to most shooters like bugs or latency or client- versus server-side registration. A few are related to players actually not quite understanding how certain game systems, like shotgun damage or killcams, work, so if you're upset about not doing as much damage as you think you should in Warface, give the post a look. And also, maybe, git gud.
