Want Your Very Own Tribble Plush? STO Has A Contest For That
If you've ever wanted your very own Tribble, you'll want to check this out. Star Trek Online has teamed up with Tribble Toys to create a special STO set of Tribble toys. To celebrate the launch of the new line, they've decided to give away a large version of one of these tribbles. Between now and July 21, eight lucky Star Trek fans could become the proud owner of one of the following tribbles:
- Triolic Tribble
- Gamma Quadrant Tribble
- Radan Tribble
- Winter Tribble
The STO team is also giving away an in-game Black Alert Tribble -- along with an Age of Discovery Starter Pack on PC to eight players.
If you don't win a tribble, they are available for purchase via the Tribble Toys site. The big ones seem to run somewhere between $25 and $35 -- with the more expensive ones including their own cages. They all make fun noises too. In addition, anyone who purchases a large version of their tribbles will get a code for an in-game Black Alert Tribble.
Still, maybe enter the contest before you buy -- unless you like one of the other tribbles they have better. Details on how to enter are available on the STO blog.
