Very Good Boi Torgal Is Just One Of The Rewards In The Upcoming Final Fantasy XIV & XVI Crossover
It looks like he has a special ability, too.
We are just five days away from The Path Infernal event in Final Fantasy XIV. This crossover brings a little of Final Fantasy XVI to the MMORPG. For a while now, we’ve known that there are rewards in the form of everyone’s favorite doggo, Torgal. Specifically, players who complete the event will receive both a mount and a minion in his likeness.
As it turns out, we’ll also be able to cosplay as Clive if you so desire Another reward is the armor of the First Shield of Rosaria – otherwise known as Metian Attire. It looks pretty nice in the images, but we’ll have to see how it looks on each of the individual races and genders.
As for Torgal, it seems there might be a little something extra about his mount form. One of the images shows a green icon of a heart on his hot bar. The author of the blog post is being a bit of a tease about that, just pointing out that it’s there rather than telling us what it’s for. Maybe it’s his transformation? That would be pretty neat.
Finally, if you haven’t played Final Fantasy XVI yet, the devs say to not worry as the quest can be enjoyed either way. One would assume that means they were careful about spoilers.
